Kochi-Muziris Biennale, 2018
The What About Art team installed Shilpa Gupta’s work at the 2018 Kochi-Muziris Biennale.
It was a large multi-channel sound installation with 100 speakers, featuring the work of 100 poets. Over the centuries, each of these poets from around the world has been jailed, or detained at some point of time in their life for their political beliefs and/or writing.
