Dhaka Art Summit
Bangladesh, 2016-2023
Dhaka Art Summit is one of the most important platforms for South Asian art in the region, and promotes artistic engagement between Bangladesh and the rest of the world. It is organised by Samdani Art Foundation, a non- profit art organisation founded by Nadia and Rajeeb Samdani in 2011, and curated by the artistic director of the Samdani Foundation, Diana Campbell Betancourt.
What About Art is the associate producer of the event since 2014. Over the years, we have worked with many artists such as Raqib Shaw, Apichatpong Weerasethakul and Chai Siris, Ho Tzu Nyen, Lucy Raven, Olafur Eliason and Haroon Mirza, to name a few.
