Doug Aitken – Under the Sun, NMACC

Under the Sun by Doug Aitken – curated by Mafalda Kahane and Roya Sachs of Triadic – transforms the Art House, NMACC into a three-part journey through materiality, media, and light. What About Art oversaw the production, project management, and installation, working closely with artisans across India throughout the two-year fabrication process. From sculptural environments to hand-crafted textiles that required nearly 600 hours of work by a team of 8–10 artisans, and mirrored moving images to a newly commissioned light installation, the exhibition unfolds as a meditative exploration of connection, transformation, and the future of human experience.
