BVLGARI – Serpenti Infinito, NMACC

What About Art led the art installation for the third chapter of Serpenti Infinito, Bvlgari’s global exhibition that began in Shanghai and Seoul. Curated by Nature Morte with artistic direction by Sean Anderson, the showcase at the Art House, Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre examined the serpent’s cross-cultural symbolism through more than 75 artworks by 23 Indian and international artists, presented alongside archival and high-jewellery Serpenti pieces. These included Refik Anadol’s Infinito: AI Data Sculpture and Alicja Kwade’s Rain series, alongside works that explored the serpent as a vessel of myth, memory, and materiality. From Arinjoy Sen’s printed and embroidered Tale of Manasa and Subodh Gupta’s sculptural Infinite Sleeper honouring Ananta Shesha, to Baua Devi’s intricate Bal Basant, the exhibition highlighted how the serpent continues to inspire new artistic forms across textiles, sculpture, technology, and contemporary visual culture.
